04 VISUAL

A milestone in our run-up to LOUD, we managed to nail the synchronized graphics today! Playing to a running video on a projector, we ran thru the opening song at least half a dozen times, until we nailed the cues right on! The temptation to play faster than we should was a constant annoyance through out the song, but by the 2nd or 3rd try, and after a good half hour of dissecting the video down to every bar, we did it!

Practice was different today, many band members were missing. Gavin had been unfortunate with a case of measles, and we ended up having to push Zhiyu to bass during ZC at the last minute! During night prac session, Zhiyu and Ashley could not make it either, leaving us baseless, singerless and micless. Nonetheless, tonight's music was the best we had produced in a long while. The crazy lights helped us reach that 'high' and we went nuts with the solos and the killer upbeat songs.

We'll be having our first run-through in the auditorium the coming week, and there's a lot more things to settle before then, especially: lights! Keep praying for us, and we're believing in faith that we'll rock the house for God come 26th July! Meanwhile, here's some pics from our night prac session. Enjoy!
